Davenport led the Vikings with 16 tackles on Friday

Floyd Davenport led the Vikings with 16 tackles in their 3-0 win over Pearl on Friday.

Davenport tackled nearly everything that ran his way, racking up 16 tackles and was able to get to the ball carrier three times in the backfield which helped the Vikings shutout the Pirates.

Davenport and the Vikings will travel to Terry on Friday and will fight for another district win under head coach Josh Morgan.
