Daylight saving time officially ends Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 a.m.

The good news is that we all get an extra hour of sleep as we “fall back” to standard time. Early risers will see sunlight sooner, but sunset will come earlier, too.

The bad news is that every clock and watch you own that doesn’t automatically update wirelessly will need changing. Time to dig out the instructions for your microwave.

Or, you could simply wait until March 8, 2020, when we’ll “spring forward” into daylight saving time once more.

That is, unless you live in Arizona, Hawaii or a handful of U.S. territories, which don’t observe it.
