Deer camp break-in leads to warning from Claiborne County Sheriff Department

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News) – On Wednesday, July 21, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department received a call in reference to a break-in at Scuthcalo Deer Camp on Carlisle Lane, near Hwy 18.

On social media, the Sheriff’s Office warned, “Be reminded, by law, property owners have the right to use defensive force against a person or persons illegally entering or committing a crime on their property.”
