Delhi substitute teacher arrested for sexual misconduct with two students

Authorities have arrested a substitute teacher accused of sexual misconduct with two students.

The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana was contacted on Monday, Jan. 27, by Delhi Charter School Administrators alleging inappropriate sexual conduct between Brittany Nicole Kirby, 29, and two students, both juveniles, KNOE TV reports.

Investigators say Kirby, who has been a substitute at DCS for about a year, admitted to being engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with the students over the last three months.

Kirby was arrested on two counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center. Her bond has been set at $50,000.
