Details limited on Jeff Davis Road shooting

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace could not provide many details on the shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon on Jeff Davis Road in Warren County.

A deputy was flagged down just after 5 p.m. while he was on routine patrol in the area. The individuals told the deputy that they had found an acquaintance of theirs shot.

The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey.

Investigators are processing the scene at this time.
