Dollar General holds a Christmas raffle to benefit St. Jude’s

Upon entering the Vicksburg Dollar General, you will often be greeted by a smiling face and great deals. This month, until Dec. 25, you will also have a chance to help others while also entering a raffle for two baskets full of goodies. 

With a little over a week left before Christmas, Dollar General is encouraging everyone to donate a dollar to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which treats children with pediatric cancers at no charge, by participating in their raffle. By purchasing a raffle ticket for $1 and entering their names, folks will be able to win one of two baskets full of toys, goodies and other miscellaneous items including a special Paw Patrol toy on Christmas Day.

Shoppers can also purchase special cupcakes, cookies and donuts to help Dollar General support St. Jude.

The holidays always seem to put people into the spirit of giving, whether it be with a toy drive or simply showing kindness to a stranger. Join in on Dollar General’s efforts to raise funds for St Jude by visiting them at 100 Mississippi Highway 27 and donating to the cause.
