Donna Kay Musil Schreiner, 1939-2023

Donna Kay Musil Schreiner was born on January 20, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank J Musil. She was the youngest of 5. After living a beautiful life, she gently went to sleep in her Savior’s arms on July 31, 2023. Donna has been a faithful member of Highland Baptist Church since 1972. Her passion and favorite activity was singing in the church choir program. She served her Master well by participating in 2 mission trips to Honduras. She was a member of Judy Woolley’s Friday “Lunch Bunch.”

Donna was married to Barton G. Schreiner March 1962. They were married until Bart lost his life in a car wreck in November 2014. Donna raised 4 children, Dean Schreiner Rodgers, Tara Schreiner Holloway, Shannon Schreiner, and Barton M. Schreiner.

Donna had 10 grandchildren whom she dearly loved -Brandy, Billy, Elizabeth, Brian, Kaden, Ryan, Ava, Beck, Sela and Thomas. Donna was always ready to add another grandchild to her family. Mrs. Schreiner also had 3 great grandchildren.

Donna believed in the strength and power of love. She had faith that love would conquer all. She loved life and acknowledged her Savior every day. Her laugh was contagious.

Pallbearers are: Brian Holloway, Doug Holloway, Greg Holloway, Kaden Holloway, Ryan Holloway, Jay Hendrix, Will Mcintire and Luke Willis.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 4 at Highland Baptist Church with services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
