Don’t forget to set your alarms for the Reindeer Run 5k

The Reindeer Run 5k is set to begin 8 a.m. Saturday morning at Catfish Row Art Park. As of Thursday, over 220 have signed up to take part in the event.

The third annual Reindeer Run 5k event to benefit Paws Rescue is a fun, family oriented event. Bring your fur baby and enjoy a 5K run or walk through Historic downtown Vicksburg.

After the run enjoy an after party with food from LD’s Kitchen, take pictures with Santa & Mrs Clause, dance to the DJ, enjoy a favorite adult beverage from Southern Beverage or Tito’s handmade Vodka, Reindeer games for the kids, and a Christmas pet parade.

The first 300 registrants will receive a long-sleeved technical shirt.

Registration for the 5K is $30 and open now at LD’s or raceroster.com. Registration can also be done at Catfish Row from 7:15 a.m. until 7:54 a.m. on Saturday.

Packet pickups can be found at LD’s on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration for the pet parade is the morning of the event.
