Eagle Lake reports 89% voter turnout

The news beyond who wins this election cycle will be voter turnout.

Eagle Lake has 314 registered voters. 289 voted today or by absentee ballot. This is the highest percentage in recent history.

All over the country precincts are reporting record numbers of voters and turnout. It seems early voting was on everyone’s agenda today. Every precinct checked in Warren County reported extremely heavy activity early in the day. The high traffic continued throughout the day but the morning was the busiest.

The Culkin precincts reported that traffic started to lessen after 1 p.m. or so.
