Eagles take a tough 9-4 loss to Centreville Tuesday

The young Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball took on Centreville on Tuesday where they walked away with their heads held high in a 9-4 loss.

The Eagles had a big third inning where they drove in three scores; John Wyatt Massey got a single and a double by Jace Riggs.

Chase Hearn and Taylor Osborne were both on the mound for PCA as they attempted to upset Centreville. Osborne struck out seven while Hearn managed to strike out two.

Gage Palmer led PCA with two hits on the night. Osborne, Riggs, Zach Ashley, and Ricky Carraway all collected hits.

PCA will head to Centreville on Friday in hopes of bringing home a win to further their chances at advancing in the playoffs.
