Early morning crash on Hankinson Road

A man from Madison Parish in Louisiana received minor injuries after loosing control of his vehicle and crashing around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Hankinson Road in southern Warren County.

The vehicle overturned and the airbags deployed, which caused On Star to notify Vicksburg Warren E-911.

The driver was transported to Merit Health River Region and the scene has been cleared.

Units from Vicksburg Fire Department and from LeTourneau and Fisher Ferry fire departments responded along with Warren County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputy Johnny Beauchamp is investigating the crash on behalf of the sheriff’s office.
