Upon arrival, they found Kenya Gray suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Gray said she was awakened by a knock at her door. When she reached the door, family members attempted to get her to come outside to fight. She and her juvenile daughter retreated into the residence. One of the people fired a weapon striking Gray in the abdomen.
