4:00 am – The rain is falling lightly here in southern Warren County… we’re about 10 miles north of the Big Black, just north of Letourneau… and we’re still seeing sporadic lightning to the northeast of us, but the thunder sounds distant.  We know of one person who was disastrously affected by the storm  this evening.  Mr. Jim Harper, brother of Beverly Connelly (the Director of the Vicksburg Chapter of the American Red Cross) lost his home to a fire tonight.  Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire, but it is believed that lightning is to blame.  Please keep Jim in your prayers!
