Easter morning head on collision claims a life
On Easter morning, a two vehicle head on collision on 61 South has claimed a life.
At about 6:40 a.m. a black sedan was traveling south in the northbound lane. The sedan made contact with a white Hummer about a half mile south of Alexander Road.
The occupant of the Hummer has been transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Numerous first responders were at the scene including Deputy Dustin Keyes, 602 from LeTourneau, Rescue and Marquis Holmes.
Deputy Warren County coroner Daryl Carson is at the scene along with Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.
The Mississippi Highway patrol will conduct the investigation
