Elfer says stay at home or shelter in place

Warren County Emergency Management Director John Elfer warned of conditions around the area.
Elfer stated, “We have trees down throughout the county. We have power lines down in numerous places. We need the public to stay home or shelter in place.”
At least 4 homes have trees on them and numerous vehicles have been destroyed. He added “as nightfall approaches visibility will be a huge concern.”
He reminds the public to slow down if they are on the road and treat intersections as four way stops.
There are currently in excess of 10,000 electric service outages between the three providers that service Warren County.
Please heed Mr. Elfer’s request, the life you save may be your own.
