Emergency Management provides update on damage assessment from Sunday’s storm

Warren County Emergency Management has provided an update on the damage assessment from Sunday’s storm.

According to Warren County Emergency Director John Elfer, a total of 14 properties were damaged.

One home was a total loss, three sustained major damage, six had minor damage and the remainder were affected by the storm at Eagle Lake.

One injury was reported, Makenzie Milburn. Milburn was trapped within her home after a tree collapsed and trapped her in the debris. Emergency crews worked for over an hour to pull her safely from the structure.

In addition, two business reported damage as well. A business at MLK and Openwood and the Scottish Inn reported damage.
