Engineer Point boat ramp parking lot at Sardis Lake is closed

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District will be closing the Sardis Lake parking lot to repair water damage.

The Engineer Point lower boat ramp parking lot will be closed and the USACE is encouraging fishermen to use the upper ramp and parking lot while repairs are being done to the lower ramp.

There will be overflow parking available across from the Engineer Point entrance.

The USACE states the following boat ramps will remain open:

• Beach Point
• Lower Lake
• Weir
• Pat’s Bluff
• Ramps three and four at Coontown
• Ramp four at Wyatt’s
• Ramp two at Teckville
• Indian Mount ramp at Hurricane Landing
