The 12th annual Bricks and Spokes bicycle ride is set to begin on Oct. 1 in Vicksburg.
Vicksburg Main Street is proud to host the 12th Annual Bricks and Spokes on Saturday, October 1st in downtown Vicksburg! Bricks and Spokes offer’s a ride for everyone!
The Bricks and Spokes event begins in Downtown Vicksburg and continues down the red brick road to the Old Mississippi River Bridge.

Several types of rides are traveled by the cyclists; a 10, 20, 30, 50 and a 62-mile ride or a 30 or 45-mile ride for those who enjoy more of an off-road experience.
All types of bicycles are accepted and all ages take part each year and enjoy a range of scenery.
Bricks and Spokes offer’s riders the opportunity to ride over the Mighty Mississippi and enjoy the views of the beautiful river, Louisiana, and gorgeous downtown Vicksburg. All bikes (i.e., road bikes, mountain bikes, triathlon bikes, tandem bikes, etc.) are welcome as well as all skill levels! The ride will have of plenty of aid stations along the way to fill up on great snacks! Immediately following the ride, cyclists will be treated to a wonderful “after ride spread.” The cost of the ride is $55.00 through September 4 and goes up to $70.00 after that. The first 200 pre-registered participants of the 12th Annual Bricks and Spokes will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag prior to the ride.
