On Saturday, Apr. 29, the Elk’s Lodge will host a benefit for Bubba McNeil. The purpose of the event is to help cover McNeil’s medical expenses and provide him with much-needed assistance, with all proceeds going to that cause.
The benefit will feature a jambalaya/pastalaya plate sale, with each plate priced at $10 to be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets can be obtained from various lodge members, or interested individuals can contact Junior Boyd at 601-540-7524 or Jeff Crevitt at 601-629-7032 for more information.
In addition to the plate sale, the benefit will include several other activities. Attendees can enjoy a silent auction that will end at 1:45 p.m. and a dessert table filled with sweet treats prepared by members of the community. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, with chances sold during the event.
The highlight of the benefit will be a live auction featuring unique and special items donated by members, friends and local businesses who have generously offered their support. The live auction will begin at 2 p.m.
This benefit is an opportunity for members of the community to come together and show support for a fellow member who needs their help.
