Jacques’ Bar will host an exciting event on an otherwise regular Monday night.
It’s not a secret that Jacques’ Bar in Vicksburg has a new venue, which was formerly Margaritaville restaurant. With a bigger and nicer venue, more opportunities for entertainment and fun events arise.
One thrilling event that has been lined up is specially tailored for the ladies in town. On Monday, March 13, Jacques’ will proudly present Girls Night Out, The Show.
Girls Night Out is a male revue that will feature a variety of healthy male entertainers in prime physical condition, ready to perform. They’ll be traveling to Vicksburg for one night only to entertain locals in an extraordinary way on an otherwise ordinary Monday night.
Described as a “mantastic night of fun,” this show promises to add excitement to the mundane normalcy of the weekly grind. Designed by Angela Wright Neilson and built by Rocky Howard, an entire stage has been installed into the new, spacious bar at Jacques’ specifically for this thrilling night that lies ahead.
In an interview, Neilson stated, “I was thrilled when the manager of Girls’ Night Out contacted me and gave us the opportunity to host this event.” She enthusiastically elaborated, “We’ve been working hard to bring good, quality entertainment to Vicksburg.” Management and staff are very happy with their new environment. “We love our new location,” Neilson continued. “Jay and Kara Parmegiani have invested so much in promoting our downtown community and they are a pleasure to work for. I love being a part of their vision. We at Jacques’ are so grateful for the support of the community and we hope that everyone can enjoy themselves here, especially the ladies during our upcoming event.”
Adding to the positive commentary from staff, Security Guard Deon Jackson said, “One thing I want to say about the club (Jacques’) is that it’s safe. We have great security, a good support team and everything in place to keep it that way.”
Jacques’ also anticipates crawfish boils, live music and cornhole Mondays. While working towards these improvements, they already offer “Live Trivia/Throwback R&B Night” on Thursdays and karaoke on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They are also planning an upcoming movie night complete with multiple big-screen TVs, a projector and popcorn.
Girls’ Night Out will take place on Monday, March 13, at 8 p.m. General admission is 20 dollars in advance and 28 dollars at the door. 40$ VIP packages are also available.
