Fans of H.G. Wells’ classic science fiction novel, War of the Worlds, are in for a treat with an upcoming show that promises to bring the original radio play to life. The show will run from Mar. 24 to Apr. 1 at Parkside Playhouse.
“We’re recreating the original 1938 radio play, plus we’ve got a few surprises up our sleeve to make it visually entertaining,” said Director Don Hill.
According to Hill, the show will stay true to the original script and will feature live performances by a talented cast of actors. In addition to the on-stage performances, the show will also incorporate visual effects and other surprises to enhance the overall experience.
The show is set to run for eight performances, with showtimes at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15
