Family of a man missing for two months offers a $2,500 reward
The family of a Louisiana man missing since Oct. 27 is offering a $2,500 reward for any information that could lead to is safe return.
In cooperation with the Louisiana State Police, Mississippi issued a Silver Alert for Welton “Wick” Pierce, 81, a few days after he disappeared two months ago.
In a Facebook post, a family member said Pierce may have been seen in Jackson heading toward Louisiana at that time, WLBT reports, and a police report puts him in Clinton on Oct. 27.
Pierce is a white male with gray hair and hazel eyes. He stands about 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing gray shorts and a blue short-sleeved shirt.
He is believed to be in a white 2002 GMC crew-cab pickup with Louisiana plates W144768.
A spokesman for the Zachary Police Department in Louisiana said Pierce is believed to be suffering with dementia, which could impair his judgement.
