Warren Central High School softball player Sarah Cameron Fancher finished a great season of summer softball.

Fancher, a rising senior, plays for the Impact Gold Premier Kimzey 18U where she participated in three tournaments over the summer. She starred defensively at second baseman and racked up 12 hits at bat.

Due to travel ball, Fancher only participated in three games with WC this summer but contributed heavily to the team’s success.

“I feel like I did pretty great and I improved in my hitting and my defense was solid but I’m ready to get this senior year started,” Fancher said.

Fancher had a .329 batting average, 23 hits, 17 RBIs and a .855 fielding percentage in 2023 for WC as they advanced to the second round of the playoffs. She made the All-District Team and was named as a Magnolia All-Star as she is now committed to playing at East Central Community College.
