Fatal accident in Sharkey county Tuesday
Around 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle accident on US 61 just south of MS Highway 1 in Sharkey Co.
Preliminary investigation shows that a Buick LaCross was traveling north on US 61 when the driver left the roadway and overturned several times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and killed on scene. The identity of the driver is pending notification of next of kin.
