FBI joins search for missing Louisiana toddler
Two-year-old Nevaeh Allen disappeared from a Baton Rouge apartment complex on Friday, Sept. 24 when her stepfather took a nap and woke to find the apartment door open and the toddler missing.
Police say that the missing girl’s mother, Lanaya Cardwell, was at work and her stepfather was the last to see the tot. At around 1 p.m., the stepfather took a nap and did not wake until Nevaeh’s siblings returned from school just after 4 p.m. The apartment door was ajar when the kids arrived and there was no sign of Nevaeh.
DAY 2 UPDATE: Still no signs or update on the whereabouts of 2-year-old Nevaeh Allen.

Nevaeh has black hair, brown eyes and weighs approximately 20 pounds. She was last seen wearing a yellow dress with pineapples on it.
The FBI is working with Baton Rouge police to help find the missing toddler.
