Fire at Red Dot Storage under investigation

Red Dot Storage at 3434 Wisconsin Avenue was ravaged by fire at around 9 a.m. Monday morning.

According to Vicksburg Fire Chief Craig Danczyk, multiple units were damaged with customer contents destroyed.  The building was not a total loss, however numerous roll up doors were damaged by the heat and direct flame contact.

No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

Kayla Riggs with the State Fire Marshall’s Office has been on a scene to assist Vicksburg Fire Department with investigation. The origin of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
