Fire destroys home on North Washington at Greenview – VIDEO

A single-family structure on North Washington at Greenview caught fire and was a complete loss.

At about 10:15, the call came in of the fire on Greenview. The first unit to respond, Engine 9, reported they could see the fire from the station. Greenview is less than a mile from Firehouse 9 located near the Animal Shelter.

Engine 9 was at the fire almost immediately but the home was fully engulfed in flames at that time. Numerous other units responded to the fire call including Deputy Chief Trey Martin and  Platform 1, Engine 6, and Engine 7.

There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
