Fire extinguisher and smoke detector giveaway Tuesday, Apr. 12 at 11 a.m.

A smoke detector and fire extinguisher giveaway will take place Apr. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Vicksburg Mall.

The last giveaway, in December of 2021, saw stock run out in about seven minutes. This time, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, 100 sets are available for those wishing to come out to the event.

Those wanting to take advantage can find the giveaway behind Belk. The units will be given away in a drive-through format. Warren County and Vicksburg police will be helping to direct traffic.
