First Annual Back to School Health Rally Scheduled for June 15 at Mississippi Children’s Museum
The University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Center for Children with Medical Complexity, in partnership with Children’s of Mississippi and the Child Health & Development Fellowship Program, announced they are having an inaugural Back to School Health Rally. This event will happen at the Mississippi Children’s Museum on June 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
As many local schools plan to commence the new academic year in July, the rally is perfectly timed to prepare families and students for a healthy start. Attendees can look forward to a range of activities including health screenings, educational sessions, and an abundance of free giveaways aimed at promoting wellness and preparedness for the upcoming school year.
The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to spread the word among friends and family. This four-hour event promises to be a valuable resource for the community, ensuring that children are set up for success in the new school year.
