Five arrested in Vicksburg prostitution sting

Last night, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office along with the Vicksburg Police Department, Mississippi Gaming Commission investigators and an FBI task force participated jointly in a prostitution sting in Vicksburg.
“We arrested five people on misdemeanor charges of prostitution,” said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace. “We arrested four females and one male.”
Three of those charged went to the Warren County jail and will be charged by the sheriff’s office in Justice Court. Two went to Vicksburg Police Department and will be charged by Vicksburg police officers in Municipal Court.
They have all posted bond on misdemeanor charges except for one female who was already out on bond. “We were requested to put a retainer on her for probation by the Mississippi Department of Corrections,” Pace said.
It is the policy of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to not give the names of individuals charged with misdemeanors.
