Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs, Jr. traveled to the state capitol Monday to meet with legislators.  Today, he has sent letters to Vicksburg and Warren County’s legislative delegation, Lt. Gov. Hosemann and Speaker Gunn to thank them for their continued support of Vicksburg during the 2021 Regular Session of the Mississippi Legislature.

Over $5 million in funding awards for projects in Vicksburg have passed – $5 million for a new road, $500,000 for port improvements, and $325,000 for a port study.
