St. Aloysius High School baseball team clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2021.

The Flashes, who are led by first year Head Coach Jay Harper, earned a playoff spot after Tuesday’s doubleheader victory over Providence Classical.

In 2023, St. Al ended the year with a 4-22 record but returned a majority of their players in 2024 as they now sit with a 10-8 record heading into today’s game against Providence Classical. The Flashes consist of two seniors, Barrett Shows and Damien Reeves, who have both shown true leadership this year while Carson Smith(.500), Keller Bradley(.355) and Laken Bradley(.328) are all batting over .300.

Friday’s game will begin at 4 p.m.
