Flashes defeated Discovery Christian 43-34 on senior night

St. Aloysius boy’s basketball team came away with a 43-34 win on senior night against Discovery Christian.
“It felt great to get this win for our seniors and to gain some momentum going into our last week of the season,” senior Will Keen said.
By halftime, the Flashes was down 21-16 after Carson Henderson got St. Al on the board early in the game.
Coming out of halftime, Anthony McCloud hit a 3-pointer while Will Keen knocked down a few free throws. After a shot by Kory Simms, St. Al regained the lead and went up 33-28 headed into the fourth.
The Flashes managed to stay on top throughout the rest of the night with the help of freshman Carson Gleese who pitched in six points in the fourth quarter.
McCloud led with 10 points while Keen, Henderson and Gleese all added eight. Simms finished the night with five points and Ahmad Stewart scored four points.
The Flashes will host ACCS on Tuesday.
