Flashes won two state championships at the MAIS Swim Meet

St. Aloysius secured two state championships at the MAIS Swim Meet.

Jon Daniel Busby, Luke Larsson, Matthew Busby, and Conner Johnston clinched a win in the 400-yard freestyle. Jon also triumphed in the 200-yard individual medley.

In the 200 medley relay, Matthew, Jon, Caleb Jones, and Luke Larson finished as runners-up.

In total, the Flashes garnered 127 points, landing them in fourth place overall.

For the girls, Katelyn Clark, Elle Larson, Campbell McCoy, and Olivia Busby finished fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Clark achieved fourth place in the 500 freestyle and fifth in the 200 freestyle. Busby secured third place in the 200-yard medley and fourth in the 100 freestyle. Meanwhile, Larson took fourth place in both the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley.

The VCS elementary athletes secured fifth place out of 16 teams.

Jack Stanley took 1st place in both the 50-yard fly and the 100-yard IM.

Fiona Tidwell finished in fourth place in the 25-yard backstroke.

Keaghan Stanley claimed first place in the 50-yard free and third place in the 25-yard backstroke.

Emily Averett earned fifth place in the 25-yard breaststroke.
