Flashes pulled off a 4-3 district win over ACCS
For the second time this season, St. Aloysius came out with a win over Adams County Christian in a 4-3 victory.
The game remained scoreless until the third inning when Maddy McSherry hit a triple to bring in the first run. The Lady Flashes picked up two more runs in the fifth inning after an RBI from Ruthie Britton along with a run from a wild pitch.
Kyleigh Cooper, Madison Spencer and Presley Brister would earn hits midway through the game along with Britton who hit a double to give St. Al a 4-0 lead in the seventh.
ACCS began to hit in the final inning and picked up three runs until McSherry made an amazing catch to give the Lady Flashes the win.
Cooper, McSherry(one RBI), Britton(two RBIs), Brister and Spencer all had hits in the win.
Cooper struck out seven and St. Al will travel to Copiah Academy on Tuesday.
