Flashes season ended after a hard fought battle with ACCS

St.Aloysius baseball team ended their season on Wednesday against Adams County Christian School.

Game one:

After a single by Matthew Pitre and a error by ACCS, the Flashes went up 3-0 in the first inning.

By the third inning, St. Aloysius advanced their lead to 5-1 after Cole Autrey got a big hit that led to Tristan Wilbanks getting a run from an error and Carson Smith got a RBI.

Trace Daily would score on a passed ball in the fourth inning.

ACCS would collect three runs in the fifth but St. Al quickly responded  getting two runs after a RBI by Adam Francisco and a passed ball.

Autrey got the final run after a single by Pitre.

Pitre went 3 for 3 with three RBIs on the night while Autrey and Francisco both went 2 for 3. John David Liggett also got one hit.

Pitre struck out five batters.

Game two:

The Flashes took a 5-3 loss to ACCS in the final game.

Carter Magee got a RBI in the first inning followed by a sacrifice by Autrey which put the Flashes up 2-0 in the first inning.

ACCS wouldn’t get on the board until the third inning after a wild pitch.

The third inning would be the most profitable for ACCS when they picked up three runs to take the lead.

Francisco would hit a home run in the seventh but ACCS still managed to get the 5-3 win.
