Flashes sneak away with a 4-3 win over Winona Christian

A late score gave St. Aloysius a 4-3 win on Tuesday over Winona Christian.

The Flashes popped things off when Tristan Wilbanks singled on a line drive for Carson Smith to bring in the score. Matthew Pitre stepped up shortly and singled. That brought in two scores and St. Al went up 3-0.

WC managed to get back in the game and tie things up at 3 in the second inning. Both teams struggled to get some hits midway through the game.

In the seventh inning, Trace Daily got the RBI that led to Smith getting the final score of the night, giving the Flashes the win

Adam Francisco went 2 for 4 at the plate while Smith, Wilbanks, Carter Magee, Pitre each got one hit. Pitre struck out seven batters and Wilbanks struck out four. Barrett Shows struck out one.
