Flashes track team won multiple events on Wednesday

St. Aloysius track and field team won a few individual events on Wednesday at the Washington School Invitational.

Freshman Megan Theriot took home three first place ribbons. She won the 100m(13.31) and helped the Flashes win the 4×200 and 4×100(with Madelyn Kavanaugh, Kennadi Blassingame and Kelci Bingham) in 54.66.

Samantha Edwards won the 1,600(5:49.04), 800m(2:36.18) and the 3200(12:10.36). Annslee Averett came in third place in the 100 and 300 m hurdles on the junior high team. Sam Ashley also came in third place in the 400 m dash.

The Flashes will travel to compete in the PCS invitational on April 10 in Hattiesburg.
