Flashes youth football team defeated Central Hinds on Thursday

The Flashes Youth football team traveled to play Central Hinds on Thursday and came home with a 22-8 win in their season opener.
The Flashes managed to stay on top by pulling off some hard hitting and big offensive plays.
Drew Gleese scored two touchdowns while teammate Braylon Jenkins also brought in a touchdown. Evan Mallard and Reeves Sadler took the snaps. Landon Prentiss managed a profitable running game, all of which led the Flashes to secure the win.
Defensively, the Flashes continued to stop the Cougars all night as Carter Smithart and Mallard collected multiple tackles.
The Flashes are coached by head coach Mike McMillin, along with assistant coaches Matt Mallard, Rob Sadler, Brandon Tate and Blake Nasif.
The team will be at home next Thursday to face Park Place Christian to strive for another victory.
