Forever 15 formal dress community closet opens September 13

Vicksburg locals have come together to open a community formal dress closet for young ladies in Vicksburg and Warren County called Forever 15.
This closet was put together by Racheal Hollowell of Bella la Vita Photography with help from Lacey Watson of Bridal Studio 61, Jordan Wilson of Muddy Magnolias and Rob Amborn of United Cleaners. The donation based closet gives girls the opportunity to rent formal dresses for prom, homecoming, or otherwise with the only cost requirement being that the dress must be cleaned following the rental. The cost of rental will be only 15 dollars per dress.
Those interested in donating dresses are asked that the donations are no older than 5 years old, are cleaned prior to drop off and are gently used. Dresses can be dropped off at Bella la Vita Photography at 1514 A Cherry Street, Bridal Studio61 at 1208 Washington Street, or Muddy Magnolias at 4000 S. Frontage Road, Suite 114.
It has been reported that several stunning gowns are already in stock for this upcoming homecoming season. This closet has been opened in honor of three of Hollowell’s family members who passed away at or around the age of 15. It has been dedicated lovingly to the young ladies whose names were Lezlie, Natalie and Truly. The intention is to give other girls in the community the opportunity to afford beautiful formal wear for special events regardless of their family’s income. This will make it possible for the community to get involved by donating dresses to this thoughtful cause while allowing young ladies to have the chance to sparkle without limitations.
Forever 15 will be opening on Tuesday, September 13. The hours will be Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 601-529-7001 during weekday business hours.
