Former Jackson Public School employee pleads guilty to child porn charges

Jerrell Lea’Shun Jackson pled guilty to child pornography charges on Monday, WAPT reports. Jackson was a former Jackson Public School band volunteer and bus driver for the school system.

After being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the case was brought before the courts and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Glenda R. Haynes.

According to the report, investigators of the case, along with court documents, show Jackson would bring young girls back to his Ridgeland apartment where he would perform sexual conduct with them while recording himself.  The recordings are reported to have taken place between 2017 and 2018.

Jackson entered a plea of guilty on Monday to three counts of producing child pornography. Jackson will face a 15 – 30 year prison sentence which is scheduled to be determined by a federal district judge on September 30.
