Former Jackson State basketball player Geronimo Warner has died

Former Jackson State University basketball player Geronimo Warner has died.

JSU released a statement on Wednesday of Warner’s death.

“The passing of our student Geronimo Warner is a significant loss for the Jackson State Family. On behalf of the campus community, I extend my sincerest condolences to his family and friends and send prayers of comfort during this time,” said Hudson.

At the time of this writing, it is not clear how Warner died.
