Former Jackson State University football player Casey “White Tiger” Therriault threw four touchdowns in his first game back with the New Yorker Lions of the German Football League.
Therriault led the Lions to a 31-20 victory over the weekend against the Dresden Monarchs. He recently signed back with the Lions after not playing since 2020.
From 2013-2017, Therriault played for the Lions and threw for 14,408 yards and 168 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,686 yards and 27 touchdowns.
In 2019, he also played for the Invaders where he threw for over 3,000 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Therriault earned the name “White Tiger” while playing quarterback at JSU, throwing for 7,227 yards and 58 touchdowns while rushing for 19 touchdowns. JSU had an overall 17-5 record in Therriault’s two seasons.
