Former Miss. Fair Commission director sentenced for promoting prostitution

Former Mississippi Fair Commission Executive Director Steve Hutton has pled guilty to promoting prostitution, WLBT reports.
Hutton has been sentenced to serve 10 years, with the last 7 to be suspended, with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Hutton will be in custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections for one year, then be placed in an Intensive Supervision Program.
Hutton will also be expected to pay $1,442 in court costs, $500 in district attorney investigative fees and $500 for an MBI investigative fee. The repayment agreement will have to be paid in installments of no less than $100 a month.
