Former PCA softball player Embry is ranked No. 5 in NJCAA stikeouts
Former Porter’s Chapel Academy softball player Hannah Embry is now ranked fifth in the nation in strikeouts for the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Embry now plays for Pearl River Community College where she is doing a great job at leading the Wildcats. She currently has a total of 31 strikeouts while leading PRCC to a 9-3 record.
Most recently, Embry led the Wildcats to two victories over Northwest Mississippi CC over the weekend. The right hander struck out eight batters in the first win, and four in the second one.
Embry’s pitching seems to be improving every week and she has now quickly become a great asset to the Wildcats’ program.
Embry and PRCC will face East Central CC today in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
