Former St. Aloysius baseball stars Adam Francisco and Wes Warnock had great collegiate performances on Wednesday.

Francisco:

Francisco, who plays for Holmes CC, got his first collegiate home run yesterday in a 6-5 win against Coahoma CC. He also went 3 for 5 at the plate.

A year ago, Francisco was named VDN’s 2022 Baseball Player of the Year.

Warnock:

Warnock, who plays for Mississippi Delta CC, got four RBIs and four hits in a 17-6 win over Coahoma CC. He also had a home run and a total of five RBIs yesterday. He was selected as VDN’s 2021 Baseball Player of the Year two years ago.

Warnock and Francisco also went against each other yesterday where the Trojans won 5-3.

Both Warnock and Francisco played under head coach Sid Naron in high school.
