Former VHS baseball player Prentiss to lead baseball and skill development at NGSA

Former Vicksburg High School baseball player Chris Prentiss will now be the head of baseball and skill development at Next Generation Skill Academy.

The announcement came over the weekend by NGSA owner Anthony Lumpkin, who was thrilled to have someone like Prentiss aboard.

Prentiss played baseball at Vicksburg High School in 2015 before starring at Co-Lin, Holmes CC, and Jackson State University where he was named a HBCU All-American. He also received a scholarship to the University of Arkansas Little Rock where he attended during his graduate transfer year.

Now that NGSA as added Prentiss to the staff, he will be able to teach individuals the fundamentals of baseball in order to help improve their game.

NGSA is located in the Vicksburg Mall and focuses on training individuals in both basketball and baseball.
