Former VHS defensive coordinator Milton Green named as Madison High head coach
Former Vicksburg High School football defensive coordinator Milton Green has been named as the head coach of Madison High School in Tallulah, Louisiana.
Green, a Hattiesburg native, was recently the head coach of Varnado High School but is now ready to install a winning attitude into the Jaguars as he is preparing for his first year.
“Our key things to focus on now is hitting the weight room hard and working on key fundamentals of the game and getting a 100% participation,” Green said.
Green is a long list of being a successful coach at programs such as VHS, Canton, Varnado, along with playing at Alcorn State University while in college. He helped the Gators reach a spot in the playoffs in 2017 as their defensive coordinator.
Green also plans to build his coaching staff with well experienced coaches who are looking to help the Jaguars reach their full potential.
Many fans will be waiting to see the works the future Jaguars under Green’s leadership and Vicksburg Day News will be providing updates on the team’s success.
