Former Vicksburg High School football standout Nick Anderson has officially received his college football championship ring for the Armed Forces Bowl victory last season.

Anderson, a linebacker at Tulane University, helped his team to a 30-13 victory against the University of Southern Mississippi in January. He had a total of five tackles in the game and helped shut down USM’s tough offense.

Anderson was star player at Jones Community College in 2018 before joining Tulane a year later where he has become an impact player on the team. He will now be going into his junior season where he will be working toward a starting spot.

Anderson is a 2018 graduate of VHS where he led the Gators to three straight playoff appearances.
