Former VHS player Tyron Moore shines in MCC victory Thursday

Former Vicksburg High School basketball Tyron Moore had a great game last night for Meridian Community College as they defeated Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 77-61 on Thursday.

Moore scored 14 points in the big win. He also played outstanding defense to help his team secure the victory. His training has paid off, showing

Moore graduated from Vicksburg High School  in 2019 where he played under head coach Kelvin Carter and led the Gators to much success.

Moore and MCC will be back in action on Monday against Pearl River Community College.
